Am I eligible for a payment?
The second round of payments is generally $600 for singles and $1,200 for married couples filing a joint return. In addition, those with qualifying children will also receive $600 for each qualifying child. Dependents who are 17 and older are not eligible for the child payment. When will my payment arrive?
Direct deposits have begun and will continue into next week. The IRS will use the most recent information that they have on file to issue the direct deposit. Paper checks will begin to be mailed on December 30. Prepaid cards will be mailed beginning the week of January 4. Peoples Bank cannot check the status of your payment. When are my funds available?
The official payment date is January 4, although you may see a pending deposit earlier if your payment is direct deposited into your account. Paper checks will have a payment date of January 6.
