Peoples Bank Sets New Volunteering Record

Feb 25, 2020 1:47:00 PM/ by Rebecca Prescott

Each year, Peoples Bank gives a percentage of its profits to community groups and organizations. We’ve done this since we opened our doors in 1998 for a simple reason: The bank is only as successful as our community and its residents.

That hasn't changed in 22 years. Our community investment and impact increases each year. In 2019, our total donation and reach was the largest in history:
  • We raised $125,000

  • Volunteered for 1,439 hours (up 23% from '18)

  • Helping 116 organizations (Up 10% from '18)

  • In 4 Iowa counties

We've broken these donations down by the Peoples Bank branch.

Philanthropy is important at Peoples Bank. Our employees are involved in their local communities, and it shows. You'll see us in parades, working at area concession stands, celebrating ribbon cuttings and parking cars at the National Balloon Classic, just to name a few.

Giving back is OUR responsibility.

Peoples Bank is locally owned. Our number one goal is to provide superior customer service, along with the best products and services to make banking easy and convenient.

From the first day we opened our doors to the present, we want to be your bank of choice, providing you with the service you expect from people you trust.

We’re only as successful as the communities and people we serve. Why do we reinvest so much in local businesses, non-profits and community organizations? It’s simple: when one of us struggles, we all do. When we all succeed and grow as a community, it’s through everyone’s effort.
