Peoples Bank's free Community Shred Day: September 12

Aug 13, 2020 1:38:37 PM/ by Rebecca Prescott

Peoples Bank again is hosting its annual free community shred day, but there’s a twist this year!

They’re counting to see which team’s fans – Cyclones or Hawkeyes – are the most dedicated to saving the environment and protecting themselves from fraud. And for every tree they save through recycling their shred, Peoples Bank will donate $5 to Warren County Food pantries.

The event is from 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, September 12 (the original date of the in-state rivalry) and is located at the Peoples Bank Indianola location at 400 E. Iowa Ave.

Our employees will be practicing safe social distancing procedures and wearing masks. We will ask that you stay in your car and allow us to remove the shred.

Bring all of your of sensitive documents and paperwork to shred. This includes:

  • Documents
  • Magazines
  • Newspapers
  • No cardboard or electronic waste
  • Please remove any 3-ring binder metals
