Milo Library looking for adopt-a-book donations

The Milo Public Library could use a little help in promoting its annual adopt-a-book program, after the library was forced to close for several weeks due to the coronavirus.

The books range from $5 to $30. You can either select a book from their collection to adopt; or give a general donation and have Librarian Renee Hembry select them for you. Each book will have a nameplate identifying the donor.

Peoples Bank supports this effort every year, helping to bring new titles to Milo residents who rely on the access that the library can provide to new reading materials.

Donations can be mailed to Milo Public Library; PO Box 91; Milo, IA 50166.
